Hawaii - Part 1

First I'm just going to post pics of the scenery. So views from our beach and of a few of the beaches we passed a long the way!! (BTW while those are loading, my Internet is so slow today because of the stupid snow. Grumble. I HATE SNOW!!) and these are in no particular order. They have been touched up a bit by my friend Anna at Blue Moon Photography if you want more info on her, just let me know.

Nothing like a beach first thing in the morning.

This is my all time fav pic. Some of these pics were taken by other people on our trip, but this one was taken just by me!! And I feel special as if I have a great eye or something, which I don't, but it's nice to see something you took turn out so well. This one's going up on the wall (don't ask me what wall because I don't know. All I know is that I look at this pic and I'm a little happier.)

This is the same beach as before. Except in the other direction. It had green seaweed growing on the rocks and it was cool because there were a lot of little (mid sized) holes filled with water and with seaweed.

Sigh I love the ocean.

The water was so warm and this was one of the two sunny days that we had while we were there.

This place is called the bathtub and basically it has the barriers that you see to keep the waves out so the kiddies can swim and you can snorkel. I didn't snorkel. Maybe next trip.

This was our beach that was right across from our hotel. (not right across, we did have to walk on a little trail to get there, but it basically was right there.) There aren't private beaches in Hawaii so anyone can go anywhere, but no one was here. So it was like it was private. This was in the morning and you can see the driftwood that was left from a huge storm they had in December.

This reminds me of the footprints in the sand poem. I love that poem.

A picture of the beach from the water. This was our "private" beach. The waves were pretty mild here.

The temple. It is in the middle of 2 years of renovations. So there is a tarp on the top. But it was still pretty.

More of the seaweed beach. This were the mountains to the left of the beach.
